What does POL, PAP, & EIL stand for?

POL is the abbreviation for Political Science. PAP is the abbreviation for Public Administration, and EIL is the abbreviation for International Studies & Modern Languages. 

 

 

When do Committees open?

Committees open twice a year, once in Spring (May-June) with the in-coming Executive, and again at the beginning of the school year (September-October) to give the chance to in-coming students to become involved with IPPSSA. 

 

 

What’s the difference between the University of Ottawa Student Union (UOSU) and IPPSSA?

IPPSSA is a Registered Student Government (RSG) for students in Political Science, Public Administration, and International and Modern Languages. There are other RSGs for different programs like Psychology, Criminology, Economics, etc. RSGs host events and find opportunities for their students. 

The UOSU has programming for all students who are doing their undergraduate. They are led by a team of elected Executive who hold a variety of different positions. For more information visit their website :
